The Hanwell EMS IceSpy System uses the EMS software that can be installed as an EMS cloud package or installed locally on your own PC or server environment and accessed via your intranet or online.

The EMS software is a web based platform that once installed requires no extra software to add other users to the system.

The Hanwell EMS IceSpy system is a progression of the well know and industry trusted IceSpy range of products, drawing from years of design and production experience the EMS IceSpy system is leaps and bound ahead of alternative systems.

Some key features include automated reports. EMS IceSpy systems can send you a report on a sensor or group of sensors at a pre-determined interval via email or through the web application meaning you no longer have to remember to run temperature reports.

Hanwell EMS is also capable of sending email temperature alerts along with SMS alerts, all configurable to send out during the hours and days you wish to receive them. Putting a stop to lost product from out of hours refrigeration failure.

The oncology laboratory at Charing Cross Hospital is a specialist centre with expertise in the testing of tumour markers. The laboratory infrastructure includes a large number of temperature critical environments, the temperatures of which were monitored manually with pen and paper, once daily until 2008. In 2008, we decided that it was not a good use of staff skills or time to manually record temperatures

We initially chose Thermal Systems because of the complete solution they were able to offer us, i.e. to supply, install, calibrate and maintain the Icespy Temperature Monitoring System for our temperature critical environments

We began with a mini system to verify the suitability and reliability of the system. This trial was successful and we later expanded the system to cover all temperature critical environments in the oncology laboratory. We monitor a range of temperatures from 15°C to 30°C (ambient room tempratures), 2°C to 8°C (fridges), -15°C to -25°C (freezers) and -60°C to -80°C (deep freezers).
